Our first FUN FLY of the 2019 season has been set for Saturday May 04th (Sunday 5th rain date) at the LEAF field in Longmont. This Members and Family Fun Fly is in honor the local ‘Meals on Wheels’. All proceeds from our first Fun Fly will be donated to this great organization that does so much for our seniors who need help. And thanks to those of you in our club who volunteer to deliver to those in need.

More details to follow in the near future, but for now LEAF will supply the food and entertainment. We will be asking for you all to bring a side dish of some kind as we have in the past. WARBIRDS is our theme for this first FUN FLY. So bring those warbirds out to show and or fly. Bring out all those planes as it’s not just for warbirds, we’re out there to have fun, period. We usually do a pretty good job at it too..

This year we will raffle off a ride in a 2 seater WWII AT6 warbird. WOW what a chance to get a ride in the real deal. Tickets are only$1 so buy lots. Your odds of winning a ride are good compared to other like kind raffles. Winner need not be present to win on May 04th. Remember all proceeds go to our charity ‘Meals on Wheels’. LEAF donates 100% of proceeds. Contact any club official for tickets and details.
